The streaking Tombstone Huckleberries won by the slimmest of margins, 6 to 5. Tombstone claimed the early lead in the first inning scoring 4 runners on 4 hits. The key offensive moment was provided by Adam Melhuse who electrified the ballpark when he doubled bringing in two baserunners. Dublin had a chance to come back in the 9th but they came up short. Carlos Silva(11-1) picked up the victory, allowing 4 runs in 8 innings. Silva was helped out by Troy Percival who recorded his 12th save. Ramon Ortiz(3-5) was charged with the loss. Adam Smith was in a sour mood after the game. 'Even you guys up in the press box know why we lost this game. We made too many mistakes.'
